The Centre for Health Protection is monitoring six new Middle East Respiratory Syndrome cases in Saudi Arabia.
The patients, aged 31 to 51, include three healthcare workers.
To date, 1,768 laboratory-confirmed MERS cases have been reported to the World Health Organisation globally, including at least 630 deaths.
The centre advises travel agents organising tours to the Middle East not to arrange camel rides or activities involving the animals which may increase the risk of infection.
