Hongkong Post will issue a stamp sheetlet on the 57th International Mathematical Olympiad 2016 on July 6.
The Olympiad has been running annually in different cities since 1959. It will be held in Hong Kong from July 6 to 16, and Hongkong Post will issue a stamp sheetlet and associated philatelic products to mark the event.
A geometric problem formulated by Hong Kong and adopted as one of the questions in the 2010 IMO is shown on the stamp.
Official first day covers will be on sale for $1.20 at all post offices from tomorrow.
The stamp sheetlet and associated philatelic products will also be displayed at the General, Tsim Sha Tsui, Tsuen Wan, Sha Tin Central, and Tuen Mun Central post offices.
