Secretary for Food & Health Dr Ko Wing-man says the Government will suggest ways to provide the best service to patients, by increasing training capability and fully utilising existing human resources.

Dr Ko told reporters today that Hong Kong's healthcare system is facing a severe challenge due to rising demand caused by a rapidly ageing population.

He said the Government's strategic review on healthcare manpower is close to conclusion and the report will be released later this year.
