The Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department will hold a pet adoption event in D‧PARK Shopping Centre, Tsuen Wan on May 21 and 22.
From noon to 7pm on both days, visitors can meet cats, rabbits and reptiles up for adoption.
Other activities include game booths and educational exhibitions.
Admission is free.
To avoid causing stress to small animals, dogs are not allowed.
The department encourages people to adopt abandoned or unclaimed animals and promotes responsible pet ownership.
It sends abandoned pets or unclaimed animals with a good temperament to partner animal welfare organisations for adoption and offers free desexing operations for pets that are adopted.
