Yip Kin-man and Wong Ka-yan are the men's and women's champions of the annual Bun Scrambling Competition held on Cheung Chau last night.
The finale of the Cheung Chau Jiao Festival, more than 1,000 spectators cheered on the 12 finalists as they scrambled up the bun tower to snatch as many buns as they could within the three-minute time limit.
Apart from the individual competition, there was also an invitation relay in which three teams from Shenzhen, Zhuhai and Macau competed against teams from Cheung Chau.
The Cheung Chau Sai Wan Ma Sing Temple Management Association won the relay.
Winner of the “Full Pockets of Lucky Buns” category Kwok Chun-yin managed to grab 131 buns.
