The Leisure & Cultural Services Department Music Office will host Summer Music Workshops July 15 to August 26.
Music lessons for children aged seven to nine will be held in July, while lessons for those aged four to six will be held in August.
The workshops will encourage children to explore their interest in music and acquire basic musical knowledge. Prior music training is not required.
They will learn basic knowledge on music notes, letter names and rhythms, and about various Chinese and Western orchestral instruments and basic music theory.
The five lessons will be conducted in Cantonese with a total tuition fee of $220.
Applications are now open and will close on June 15.
