Secretary for Home Affairs Lau Kong-wah today congratulated cyclist Cheung King-lok for winning a gold medal for Hong Kong in the Men Elite - Individual Road Race at the 2016 Asian Cycling Championships in Japan.

Together with the gold medal he won in the Men Elite - Individual Time Trial on January 21, Cheung is the first Hong Kong athlete to bring home gold medals from both events in the Asian Cycling Championships.

Mr Lau said Cheung King-lok performed phenomenally and Hong Kong takes pride in his efforts.
