The Centre for Health Protection is monitoring 29 Middle East Respiratory Syndrome cases in Saudi Arabia.
The patients include 17 men and 12 women aged 28 to 109.
Meanwhile, one previously confirmed patient has died.
So far, the World Health Organisation has recorded 1,461 MERS cases, including at least 514 deaths.
Travel agents organising tours to the Middle East are advised not to arrange camel rides and activities involving the animals which may increase the risk of infection.
The centre reminds travellers taking part in the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca next month to be vigilant against MERS. They should consult healthcare providers before travel to review the risk and assess whether pilgrimage is advisable.
