Thousands of paddlers from across the world splashed out at the Tsim Sha Tsui East waterfront during the 2015 Hong Kong Dragon Boat Carnival this weekend.
Paddlers thrust their long narrow boats accompanied by the beat of the drum down to the finish line. In the newly introduced tug of war fun race, two teams of paddlers on either ends of a boat rowed in opposite directions to show off their strength.
Many teams also enhanced the festive atmosphere by donning innovative costumes.
A BeerFest running alongside the racing action offered live music and dancing on stage, while colourful casts of marching bands, clowns and street performers also added to the party atmosphere.
