The Centre for Health Protection is monitoring three newly reported Middle East Respiratory Syndrome cases in Korea.
The 10th and 11th cases were in-patients hospitalised from May 15 to 17 in the same ward to which the first case was admitted. The 12th case is the 49-year-old husband of the 11th case who had visited the same hospital ward.
The centre will maintain close communication with the World Health Organisation and Korea's health authority.
It advises the public and the healthcare sector to heighten vigilance and stay alert to the latest situation.
