The Centre for Food Safety has urged the public not to consume five kinds of French goat's cheese believed to contain salmonella.
The cheeses are Le Petit Fiance Des Pyrenees, La Tomme De Chevre Cabrioulet, La Tomme De Chevre Espelette, Le Cabri Ariegois and Le Caree Ariegois.
The affected products have expiry dates between March 10 and April 6, 2015, and some may have been imported to Hong Kong.
The importer has disposed of its stock and informed the restaurants which have bought the affected products to stop using it.
