The 2015 Lunar New Year Fireworks Display over Victoria Harbour will be held at 8pm on February 20, the second day of the Lunar New Year.
Co-ordinated by the Home Affairs Bureau, 23,888 pyrotechnic shells will be discharged during the 23-minute show's nine scenes.
Highlights include the red Chinese character "Spring" in the first scene, the red Chinese character "Ram" in the second scene, the lucky number 8 and the Chinese character "Harmony" in the seventh scene.
The display’s climax will be filled with colourful fireworks moving across the sky from east to west, followed by a fast and rhythmic firing for 30 seconds, celebrating the year with joy and blessings.
