The Centre for Health Protection has learned of two new avian influenza A (H7N9) cases in Guangdong.
They involve a 48-year-old man in Jieyang who has died, and a nine-year-old girl in Shanwei who is in stable condition.
They bring the total number of confirmed H7N9 cases on the Mainland to 504.
