Department of Health and Police officers have arrested an 83-year-old man and a 61-year-old woman for the illegal sale of unregistered medicine.
They raided a shop in Causeway Bay today and found it to be selling products labelled as containing fluocinonide and erythromycin.
Both are prescription medicines which should only be used under the advice of a medical doctor and supplied at pharmacies supervised by registered pharmacists.
Health officials urged people who have bought the products to stop using them and consult doctors if they are in doubt or unwell after their use.
