The Department of Health is monitoring three new Middle East Respiratory Syndrome cases in Saudi Arabia.
The patients, aged 29 to 70, include a female nurse who had contact with a previously confirmed patient and two who had contact with camels.
One previously confirmed patient had died.
To date, 941 laboratory-confirmed MERS cases have been reported to the World Health Organisation globally, including at least 347 deaths.
The department advises travel agents organising tours to the Middle East not to arrange camel rides or activities involving the animals, which may increase the risk of infection.
