The Judiciary will extend its WiFi service to cover the Lands Tribunal, the Labour Tribunal and Tuen Mun Magistracy from December 1.
The new service will enable the use of WiFi services, including text-based communications, in the public areas like courtrooms.
However, the Judiciary reminded that has issued Practice Direction 32 and the Notice to Court Users on the use of information technology and text-based communications in courtrooms.
The service was first introduced in the Wan Chai Law Courts in February and later extended to cover the Court of Final Appeal, the High Court, and Tsuen Wan, Eastern, Kwun Tong and Sha Tin Magistracies.
