The Centre for Health Protection has learnt of two avian influenza A (H7N9) cases on the Mainland.
They involve a 54-year-old woman in Xinjiang and a 45-year-old woman in Jiangsu.
The Xinjiang woman died earlier this month.
They bring the total number of confirmed H7N9 cases on the Mainland to 443.
