Centre for Health Protection staff conducted an Ebola drill in a Tsim Sha Tsui guesthouse today, to review their preparedness for handling the virus.
The exercise scenario involved a traveller from an Ebola-affected country who fell ill after checking in at the guesthouse.
The drill tested co-ordination between the Department of Health and the Food & Environmental Hygiene Department in field investigation and disinfection.
The building's management office also took part.
The centre's Infection Control Branch monitored the use protective equipment by field officers and management office staff, and also infection control measures.
