Stanley Prison inmates will showcase their new cooking skills at the Correctional Services Department's Autumn Fair on November 1.
The fair will be held from 11am to 5pm and will feature a "Rehabilitation Corner" of social enterprise booths set up by the Home Affairs Department where young offenders taking part in catering vocational training courses can show off what they have learnt.
Visitors to Café Collinson - which is run by the Cape Collinson Correctional Institution - will be served pineapple buns, cakes and milk tea; while those who eat at Chef's Noodle - a chain restaurant opened by the Society of Rehabilitation & Crime Prevention - can enjoy Korean dishes.
The fair will also include game stalls, dragon and lion dances, guard dog training demonstrations, marching band performances and cheerleading demonstrations. There will also be a chance to buy products made by the inmates.
