The Leisure & Cultural Services Department appeals to people to keep places clean and tidy when celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival.
They should not fly sky lanterns as they could cause injuries or damage to property.
The department will step up patrols at its venues including parks, beaches and barbecue sites on September 7 and 8, and send additional staff to take enforcement action against littering, wax melting and flying sky lanterns.
People can call 2414 5555 from 7pm to midnight on the two days to report irregularities.
