Live poultry imports from the Mainland may resume before the Mid-Autumn Festival, Secretary for Food & Health Dr Ko Wing-man says.
Speaking to the media before attending a public function today, Dr Ko said Hong Kong is still in close connection with Mainland authorities on the issue and an announcement will be made once a decision is reached.
On the Ebola virus disease situation, he noted that if there is confirmation that the outbreak has spread to Senegal, the department will expand its health notice delivery system.
