Weather observation course to be held

The Hong Kong Observatory will hold a weather training course in October for the public.
 
Observatory officers will outline basic weather observation techniques and methods, such as surveillance and classification of clouds.
 
Participants will also learn how to use the weather data on the observatory's website, and how to practice weather observation and report coding.
 
The course comprises two sessions - October 11 at the Museum of History, and October 18 at the Hong Kong Observatory headquarters. They will run from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
 
The fee is $120 per person.
