The Department of Health is investigating a suspected local case of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome affecting a two-year-old boy.
He returned to Hong Kong from Dubai on July 23 and fell ill the next day.
He was admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital yesterday.
Test results are pending.
No human cases of the disease have been confirmed in Hong Kong.
