The Government's latest yearbook Hong Kong 2013 will go on sale at the Hong Kong Book Fair tomorrow.
It will be on sale at the Information Services Department booth for $234, which is 25% off the cover price.
The book provides an in-depth account of government policy and activities and an overview of Hong Kong life and developments in 2013, with facts and figures, more than 40 tables of statistics, and an endpaper map showing Hong Kong's climate.
Twenty-one chapters cover subjects from the local constitution and legal system, the economy, commerce and industry, employment, education, health and social welfare, to the environment, recreation, sport, culture and the arts.
The front cover shows the Mariner of the Seas, the first ship to berth at the new Kai Tak Cruise Terminal.
It has more than 110 photographs in 12 photo sections.
It is one of the more than 100 government publications on sale at the ISD booth, stall C37 in Hall 1A of the Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Hong Kong 2013 and other government publications can also be bought at the department's Publications Sales Unit, Room 626, North Point Government Offices.
