The Centre for Food Safety has launched a mobile application to help people keep abreast of the latest food safety news.
The app, called Food Safety, will provide its users with food alerts, food safety tips and information on the centre’s latest actions.
It allows users to create archives to store information according to personal preference, use keyword search and share information through email and online social media.
IPhone and Android versions of the app are available for free download at the App Store and Google Play.
