2 MERS cases monitored

The Department of Health is monitoring two additional Middle East Respiratory Syndrome cases Tunisia and Qatar reported to the World Health Organisation.
The case in Tunisia involves a 66-year-old man who became ill on May 1 and died on May 10. His daughter and son tested positive for the disease in May.
The Qatar case involves a 56-year-old woman with underlying illnesses who became ill on August 18, and died on August 31.
This brings the latest global number of confirmed cases to 110, including 52 deaths.
No human infection with this virus has been identified so far in Hong Kong.
