Eye catching:  The ‘Hong Kong: Our Home’ art display goes on show at Ping Shan Tin Shui Wai Leisure & Cultural Building.

HK murals move to Tin Shui Wai

June 18, 2013
The ‘Hong Kong: Our Home’ art display will be shown at Ping Shan Tin Shui Wai Leisure & Cultural Building from today until August 11.

The display, which has been on show at the History Museum, features two giant paintings showing the cityscape of Hong Kong on both sides of Victoria Harbour, and was created as part of the ‘Hong Kong: Our Home’ Campaign launch ceremony on April 23.

Each painting consists of 49 individual artwork panels that were painted by guests who attended the ceremony, a symbol of partnership and co-operation.

The display will next move to Yuen Long Theatre, followed by Sha Tin Town Hall, Kwai Tsing Theatre, Revenue Tower in Wan Chai, and the Tung Chung Municipal Services Building on Lantau Island.
