2 treated for Dengue fever

The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed two imported cases of Dengue fever involving a 32-year-old man and 34-year-old woman.The couple travelled to Cebu, the Philippines, where they were bitten by mosquitoes. They fell ill on May 5 and May 6 and sought medical consultation at a private hospital. The man did not require hospitalisation while the woman was admitted from May 5 to 7.
They are now stable.
There have been 22 confirmed Dengue fever cases this year, all imported.
