Applications for a seniors' household cleaning and medical-consultation escorting services programme will be extended to July 31, the Community Care Fund said today.
Since the programme's introduction in October 2011, arrangements have been made for nearly 700 eligible elderly people to benefit from the services according to their needs.
Eligible seniors will get help from service providers for a maximum of 12 months at a monthly service subsidy of $480.
