Dead goose H5N1-positive

Laboratory tests have confirmed a dead goose found in Sham Tseng was H5N1-positive.
 
The highly decomposed carcass was found on Anglers' Beach on January 20.
 
The Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department will continue inspecting poultry farms to ensure proper precautions against avian influenza have been implemented.
