The volume of Hong Kong's total goods exports increased 9.1% year-on-year in June, the Census & Statistics Department announced today.
The volume of goods re-exports increased 9.2% compared to the same period last year, while that of domestic exports rose 1.2%.
Concurrently, the volume of goods imports increased 8.2%.
Comparing the first half of 2017 with the same period last year, the volume of re-exports increased 7.3%, while that of domestic exports rose 0.5%.
Taken together, the volume of total exports increased 7.2%.
Prices of goods exports increased 1.8%, while those of goods imports rose 2.1%.
Prices of goods re-exports increased 1.8%, while those of domestic exports rose 1.7%.
