Hong Kong’s foreign currency reserve assets increased by US$5.3 billion to US$408 billion in June, the Monetary Authority said today.
Including unsettled foreign exchange contracts, foreign currency reserve assets at the end of June stood at US$399.7 billion.
The reserve assets represent more than seven times the currency in circulation or 47% of Hong Kong dollar M3.
