Ashley Alder has been reappointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Securities & Futures Commission for three years from October 1, the Government announced today.

The appointment was approved by Chief Executive under the Securities & Futures Ordinance.

The Financial Services & the Treasury Bureau said under Mr Alder's leadership the commission has continued its efforts to maintain Hong Kong's market integrity, and it is confident he will facilitate the development of the market.
