The Financial Services Development Council released a report today on the business opportunities arising from the National 13th Five-Year Plan and how Hong Kong can capitalise on them.
The 13th Five-Year Plan: Opportunities for the Hong Kong Financial Industry & Policy Recommendations report is now online.
It proposes Hong Kong strengthen its position as a global hub for offshore renminbi business, participate in the Belt & Road Initiative and encourage the Mainland to further open up its market to Hong Kong.
It also advised that Hong Kong nurture new impetus for economic development through financial services.
