The Government recorded a $38.42 billion surplus in October, the Financial Services & the Treasury Bureau announced today.

 

It saw expenditure of $47.06 billion and revenue of $85.48 billion during the month.

 

Government expenditure for the seven months ending October 31 amounted to $264.79 billion, with revenue standing at $243.1 billion, bringing the cumulative year-to-date deficit to $21.7 billion.

 

Fiscal reserves stood at $821.2 billion as of October 31.
