The Innovation & Technology Commission today launched InnoTech Month 2016 to promote a culture of innovation and technology in the community.
Speaking at the launch ceremony, the Commissioner for Innovation & Technology Annie Choi said innovation and technology brings about economic benefits and makes daily life more convenient, more comfortable and safer.
The development of the sector is one of the major priorities of the Government and the Policy Address and the Budget this year have launched many new initiatives to promote it, she added.
A three-day roadshow is being held from today at D．PARK in Tsuen Wan.
The InnoCarnival will be staged at Hong Kong Science Park from October 29 to November 6.
Other programmes include exhibitions, workshops, long-distance running, seminars and industry conferences.
The campaign will run until December 3.
