The Communications Authority today invited the public to express their views on an application for a domestic free television programme service licence by Phoenix Hong Kong Television.
The authority received the application on May 6.
It will process it according to the Broadcasting Ordinance, the guidance notes and established procedures including publishing a notice in the Gazette to consult the public, before submitting recommendations to the Chief Executive in Council, which is the authority to grant free TV licences.
Views will be collected until November 3.
