The composite interest rate remained unchanged at 0.26% at the end of June, the Monetary Authority said today.

The weighted funding cost for deposits increased modestly during the month, while the weighted funding cost for interbank funds decreased.

The composite interest rate is a measure of the average cost of funds of banks.
