The Government recorded a $20 billion deficit in May, the Financial Services & the Treasury Bureau announced today.
Government expenditure for April to May amounted to $70.7 billion, with revenues of $53.7 billion, bringing the cumulative year-to-date deficit to $17 billion.
Fiscal reserves stood at $825.8 billion as at May 31.
