Business lunch:  Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Gregory So (front row, centre) attends a lunch meeting with members of the Hong Kong Association Committee in London.

Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Gregory So started his London visit today to deepen Hong Kong's ties with the UK.

 

He spoke at a business seminar on creative industries, noting that Hong Kong plays an indispensable role as one of the most important business platforms in the world for creative industries.

 

He said he looks forward to more collaboration and partnership opportunities between Hong Kong and the UK in creative industries.

 

Mr So also visited a start-up facility in East London's Tech City to learn more about the start-up scene in the British capital.

 

He later attended a lunch meeting with members of the Hong Kong Association Committee, and then officiated at the opening ceremony of the new office of the Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office, London, and visited the Central Saint Martins college of arts and design of the University of the Arts London.
