Ani-Com Park@Harbour"FUN" opened today featuring works based on 30 classic ani-com characters that reflect Hong Kong's culture and way of life.

It can be found at the open space near Golden Bauhinia Square in Wan Chai.

Hong Kong Comics & Animation Federation Director Alan Wan believes the park's selfie theme will encourage visitors and locals to share their selfies on social media and help promote Hong Kong's beauty.

Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Gregory So opened the park and noted that it was aimed at promoting Hong Kong's animation and comics to tourists and locals.

The park will link up with other cultural and creative hotspots in Wan Chai as well as Hong Kong Avenue of Comic Stars in Tsim Sha Tsui to establish an ani-com hub across Victoria Harbour to advocate local and cultural development.
