Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Gregory So believes the "one trip per week" policy will not affect the development of the boundary shopping centre near Lok Ma Chau.
Mr So today told reporters the "one trip per week" measure is to deal with parallel trading only, while this project focuses on increasing Hong Kong's capacity to receive tourists and giving them shopping opportunities.
He said this mode of operation may extendable to other places to further increase tourist capacity.
