Financial Secretary John Tsang has appointed Bruno Arboit, Bonnie Chan, Prof John Lowry and Keith Pogson to the Standing Committee on Company Law Reform for a two-year term from February 1.
Six incumbent members - Prof David Donald, Roxanne Ismail, Rainier Lam, Kenneth Ng, Benita Yu and Wendy Yung - have been reappointed.
The Government thanked outgoing members Chew Fook-aun, Prof Goo Say-hak, Johnson Kong and Catherine Morley for their valuable contributions over the past six years.
The committee was formed in 1984 to advise the Financial Secretary on amendments to the Companies Ordinance, the Companies (Winding Up & Miscellaneous Provisions) Ordinance and the Securities & Futures Ordinance.
