Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Gregory So signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Co-operation in Creative Industries with Korea today in Seoul.
He signed the deal with Korean Minister of Culture, Sports & Tourism Kim Jong-deok.
Mr So said he is impressed by Korea's achievements in promoting creative industries and welcomed closer co-operation in this area.
The memorandum provides a framework to facilitate co-operation between Hong Kong and Korea through information and human resource exchanges, education, training, research and the facilitation of business matching.
It covers creative sectors including advertising, architecture, design, and digital entertainment.
Potential co-operation initiatives include information exchange, experience sharing, training programmes, work attachment and participation in creative events.
