The Monetary Authority has issued an alert on a fraudulent website which purports to be the official Scotiabank (Hong Kong) site.
It has the domain name cccmkc.hk/templates/rhuk_milkyway/.index.htm, which links to subzeroindonesia.com/includes/js/stocktenda/confirm/authetication.bin.htm.
The bank has clarified it has no connection with the website.
Anyone who has provided personal information to the website or conducted any financial transactions through it should contact the bank on 2861 4100 and Police at 2860 5012.
