Financial Secretary John Tsang spent the last day of his three-day visit to Sydney today meeting with the governors of New South Wales and the Reserve Bank of Australia.
Meeting NSW Governor David Hurley, both sides agreed to promote closer links between their two places.
Meanwhile, Mr Tsang discussed a wide range of financial and monetary issues with Reserve Bank of Australia Governor Glenn Stevens, including the global economic outlook and regional monetary policies, as well as the development of offshore renminbi business in Hong Kong and Australia.
Mr Tsang will return to Hong Kong tonight.
