Financial Secretary John Tsang met with Minister of State for Trade & Investment Lord Livingston yesterday, on the last leg of his three-city European trip, which included stops in Paris and Milan.
Mr Tsang also attended the Hong Kong Trade Development Council’s annual dinner and delivered a keynote speech on Hong Kong's economic development.
He also made a speech at the Royal Society on how to promote the development of science, innovation and technology and officiated at an exhibition organised by the Hong Kong Institute of Architects.
Addressing a luncheon organised by the Hong Kong Association, Mr Tsang spoke about the current protests in Hong Kong, noting that the Government will continue to bridge the divide, to build consensus consistent with the provision of the constitution.
Mr Tsang returns to Hong Kong today.
