The Exchange Fund’s total assets increased to $3.2146 trillion in September, up $107.6 billion on August, the Monetary Authority announced today.
Foreign currency assets increased $76 billion while Hong Kong dollar assets rose $31.6 billion.
The Monetary Base increased $8.4 billion to $1.3472 trillion.
Backing Assets increased $11.1 billion to $1.4455 trillion.
The backing ratio increased to 107.3%.
