Financial Secretary John Tsang will pay a three-day visit to Beijing on Monday for meetings with Central Government officials in charge of financial and monetary policies.
He will visit the China Securities Regulatory Commission, China Banking Regulatory Commission, Ministry of Commerce, People's Bank of China and the Hong Kong & Macau Affairs Office.
Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury Prof KC Chan, and Hong Kong Monetary Authority Chief Executive Norman Chan will join the visit.
Mr Tsang will return to Hong Kong on Wednesday. In his absence, Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Gregory So will act as Financial Secretary.
