William Stone has benn appointed Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Appeal Board Chairman and Belinda Luk a panel member, the Government announced today.
Three incumbent panel members - Ng Chau-pei, Ng Wai-yee and Jeff Wong - were also reappointed.
The appointments are for a two-year term from November 1.
Mr Stone is a former High Court judge who is currently Banking Review Tribunal Chairman and a Market Misconduct Tribunal member.
Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury Prof KC Chan said Mr Stone has extensive experience in handling appeals relating to financial services regulators, and believed the board will continue to uphold its impartiality under his leadership.
